Using Office Professional 2003 with a SmartDocument solution created in
Visual Studio 2003. If we have both .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 installed on
the machine, it runs just fine.
However, with just 2.0, we get the "XML expansion pack or the SmartDocument
program is missing or invalid." Made sure that 2.0 saw the strong names for
the Assemblies as fully trusted by using CASPOL -lg.
From the basic research, we came across a posting from Misha Shneerson dated
September 2006 that states if a solution is compiled with VS 2003, it checks
security against 1.1 only. Just looking for confirmation on this and to see
if there is a fix that is available.
Thanks
