smartphone sync with Outlook small business contact manager 2003

I have Outlook 2003 small business edition with contact manager and now am
looking to buy my first smartphone. I have looked at Palm, Blackberry and
Motorola Q among others. The Palm Treo was recommended but comes with either
the Palm operating system or the Windows Mobile OS. Which device and
operating system will sync the easiest with my Outlook 2003 contact folders.
Will i still need a 3rd party software (Chapurra) to make it work? Help. I
need all the advice I can get. Thanks
