On occasion the group I support gets emails with this attached.
<o:SmartTagType namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags"
name="_DELETED_FILE__________________________________________ <o:SmartTagType
- - -
then the message just continues in some garbage.

We are using Outlook 2003 and Office 2000. Upgrading to Office XP or 2003 is
not an option
