Smooth Scrolling in Office 98

One of the people in my office is having problems with scrolling in Office
98. I know in Office X dragging the scroll bar moves the document along
with the bar very smoothly. However in 98 whny you drag the scroll bar the
document doesn't move until you let go. Is there a wy to smooth out
scrolling in 98? Is that an issue in Office 2001?

I have a USB logitech optical mouse with a scroll wheel. It works
great! Only cost twenty bucks. That will solve the problem. It makes
for better mouse action, too.
