Smooth scrolling outline pane

I have used Powerpoint 2003 before and I'm positive I was able to use smooth
scrolling down the Outline pane. I like to do this when I'm copying and
pasting between presentations. I looked in the Tools>Options menus but
couldn't find anything. Is there a way to get this?

Paul,
What do you mean with smooth scrolling?
Seems to me you can scroll down the outline pane using the scroll bar or the
mouse wheel. Nothing automatic to scroll I'm afraid.

What I mean is that I would like to be able to scroll down the pane and have
the view on the pane change immediately, according to how fast I am scrolling
(just like scrolling down a web page in a browser). What happens now is that
I press the scroll bar and then move it down, and the outline pane stays just
how it is, until I hit the bottom, when it changes.

In Power|Point the view doesn't change until you release the scroll bar. If
you want scrolling as you say you should use the scroll wheel on a wheel
mouse.

OK, thanks. I noticed that I got smooth scrolling with the mouse--I was
wondering if it was possible on my touchpad as well.
