SMS, Office XP and McAfee

Hi,

Since installing SMS and Office XP pro on Windows 2000 and
WXP Pro computers we have noticed that the McShield.exe
takes up >90% time (Random) for about 3 or more minutes.
This slows the computer right down. And at times the
computer appears to hang up. I was wondering if anybody
else has encountered this problem and if so what did you
do to resolve it.

Have you tried McAfee's help forums to see if this is a known issue?
