smtp settings

i am away from my home location and going through a dialup msn connection to
get to my att email server. [ at home i am on high speed]. here, i can
receive email, but whenever i try to send, i get the message: outgoing smtp
server does not support ssl-secured connections and then it times out trying.
what are the settings i need? i am using outlook 2002 XP. thanks.

Have you set your smtp server to authenticate?
