I created a shape of module based on photo for network diagram. I have a
shape of a rack where the module shape suppose to get into. I have in a
stencil old shapes of modules, which when added to the stencil and are
dragged over the rack, the border of the rack becomes highlighted with black
border, and when I place the module in this rack, it is automatically linked
to this object and unless I don't "ungroup" them they are connected all the
time - when I move the rack shape the module that is in it moves with it as
integrated part of it.

How to do that?

For the rack shape - the group into which you want to drop shapes, do this:

Format > Behavior: check "accept dropped shapes"

For the shape that gets added to the rack, do this:

Format > Behavior: check: "Add shapes to group on drop"
