Snap freeform edit points

Is there a was to get freeform edit points to snap to the
grid? I use the freeform curve for things like wall
outlines in plans that demand parallel and equally spaced
lines for reasonalbe appearance. Creating the freeform is
ok, but editing will ruin it.
