snapshot is better in acrobat

As you may know, taking a snaphsot is also possible in acrobat reader.
The way the snapshot is taken is a little different.
The whole screen is not dimmed but only a mouse-adjustable frame appears.
This is better.
Why we need to dim the whole screen?
Just make the screen avalaiable as it is, and let us take the snapshot.

I like the dimming and then 'cutting the screen clipping out of the fog'.

However I'd like more control over creating the screen clipping in ON.

I'd like to be able to edit the selection, via resize handles, before
committing to the screen clipping.

At the moment, the screen clipping is taken as soon as I release the mouse
button.

As Josh already said: Everything you are wishing to have is in SnagIt

SnagIt. You won't look back. :)

Yes, I've been using SnagIt for a couple of years now.

Occasionally though it's nice, and quicker, to use the down-and-dirty Screen
Clipping in ON.
