Might not be the best place for this question. But here goes: I have a web
application which stuffs parameters into Access ADP reports. (The user can
select to output the reports in rtf, html, PDF, excel PDF, and snp formats.)
The rendering works great except for users who have XP installed and who have
also requested a snapshot report...these users get the following warning:
"The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is
either corrupted or it has an incorrect file type."
The user can download the snapshot report to their desktop and then it opens
great. But this is a serious workflow issue as the reports are saved with a
guid name and my users will quickly fill their desktops up.
Any ideas??? I've posted this question on security news groups and the
silence is deafening.
