Snapshot Viewer won't display in IE after XP SP2

We have phone lists that are created in MS Access 2003, saved to our
intranet as a Snapshot, accessed using Internet Explorer, and displayed with
Snapshot viewer.

Ever since XP Service Pack 2 we can no longer view the reports in IE. We
are now required to save the .snp file to disk, exit Internet Explorer and
then open the .snp from where it was saved.

Is there any way to restore IE to display the .snp snapshot viewer files
