Snapshot Viewer

I downloaded this viewer to email to someone else because they do not have
access to the internet. However, when the person tries to open the file
(after it is successfully saved) they received the message that it is not a
valid Win32 application. I suspect this is because I downloaded (my machine
is XP) and his is an earlier system. Is that the case? If so, can I download
a snapshot viewer for an earlier system?

claims it works with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows
2000 and Windows XP, and with Access 97, Access 2000, Access 2002 and Access
2003

Double-check that the download was successful.

I just checked that and it seems ok on mine. I discovered that the other
person is running Windows XP 2002 Professional....and so am I!!!!

They have SP2 and the file has been "blocked" as potentially dangerous.
Have them right-click on it and then press the "Un-Block" button in the
lower right. Then it will work.

Nope, that didn't work.

What I did was send him the file with ok on the end (ie, snpvw.exeok) so
that Outlook wouldn't recognise it. Then when he goes to save it, told him to
remove the ok from the end and save. Then double click to install.

I have done this previously with other files, should I not be?

Don't know about that, but I have seen that exact error when an EXE file was
blocked by the new security in SP2.

Oh well, I got hold of their IT department and they fixed it for me.
