One of my users successfully went through a workstation setup guide I
framed for them so that their IE is set correctly and their client
software is setup with their enterprise client, etc. I've used this
guide for many folks and there have been no problems.
However, this time around when the person launches PP 2007 and
proceeds to login using their account (which is set correctly), they
get the following error
"Project Professional could not connect to server because the
dependent SOAP toolkit component is not installed".
What in the heck is this (I've never seen this before) and exactly
what do they need to do/install to correct the problem? Any links to
download pages would be appreciated or any other detailed info.
