Soccer betting records

I am a newbie to excel, so I was wondering if someone could tell me
how to do a spreadsheet to keep record of soccer matches that I have
bet on.
Column 1 - Teams
Column 2 - Amount in kitty /4
Column 3 - amount I have bet
Column 4 - odds (2/1)
Column 5 - Win or Lose (and formula to have the correct infomation in
Column 6)
Column 6 - Amount in kitty after the outcome of this bet

How to put together most the columns is self explanatory, except when you
get to columns 5 and 6.

Column 5 would have text, something like "win" or "lose", but no formula.
The formula would be in column 6 which computes the kitty depending on what
word is in column 5, the odds, etc.

Im not a gambler so I don't know how to compute "Amount in kitty after the
outcome of this bet" and take into account the odds, the amount in the kitty
(divided by 4?) and the amount you have bet.

Maybe someone else is more familiar with gambling, otherwise you should post
what needs to be done to the values in columns 2,3, and 4 to determine the
value in the kitty...
