I'm hoping the Visio powers that be will hear this. I'd like to see a more
natural shadow effect for all shapes and drawing objects. What I have in
mind is like what the software OmniGraffle (for Mac) provides -- soft shadows
without a hard border, like what you'd get on a cloudy day. It's ironic that
this type of shadow effect already appears on every shape in the built-in
Visio stencil windows, but isn't provided as an effect for the objects once
they're drawn. For reference, OmniGraffle's page:
