I have a bunch of Office XP Pro licenses with Software Assurance which is
current.

As I understand it, this entitles me to an upgrade to 2003.

Does anyone know what the procedure is for obtaining this upgrade?

Give either microsoft or your computer provider a call. They should be able to help you.
