Software/hardware compatibility

and scroll down to the system requirements for the Office
2003 Student and Teacher Edition software. My daughter
owns a laptop with the Mobile Intel Celeron Processor at
2.20 GHz. The software description says "Pentium 233 MHz
or higher processor, Pentium III recommended". Do you
recommend against buying the software?

Note that 233 Mhz is about 10 times slower than 2.2 Ghz. As long as the
computer is running some flavor of Windows XP (also runs with a sufficiently
SP'd version of Windows 2000), she should have no problem running Office
2003.
