software to open Word documents with no installation required

I need to find a software that can view Word documents. That software
should be small and no installation required. Please tell me if there

microsoft has word viewers available for download, but they are likely not
full featured.

if the goal to only read the file, why mot distribute as pdf and let folkes
use their favorite pdf reader.

Microsoft Word Viewer is quite big and it requires installation before
using.
PDF is one choice in case I can not find any other Word viewer.

word is actually a poor document distribution method, e.g., styles and fonts
will dicatate fow a documet is displayed. pdf avoids avoids that problem.
