Solution for Problem - Opening .MSG attachments

There are many posts indicating a problem trying to open .msg attachments in
Outlook. Bria Tillman mentioned in several posts that Google Desktop was the
problem.......he is correct. I just started having the problem after
installing an update to Google Desktop. I took Brian's advise & removed
Google Desktop through add/remove programs & everything now works fine.
Thanks Brian for that valuable solution to a very annoying problem. Hope this
thread helps.

You're welcome. As others have pointed out, you can leave GDS installed,
but just remove the Outlook add-in for it.
