FYI - I posted about a week ago on the funky error that caused MS Office 2007
on a Vista machine to crash when the drivers for a Dell network printers were
installed.
Dell has just come up with a fix. You need to remove the older drivers that
come with the printer from your PC, go to the Dell website and download the
recently updated Vista drivers. When adding the networked printer onto the
Vista machine DO NOT use the 'add network printer' function. Instead "add
local printer", add it via TCP/IP using the IP address and install the Vista
driver.
