Hello everyone.
I'm trying to publish our addon using the solution publishing tool. Our
installer runs fine after the tool adds the table. I just can't seem to get
our solution to run.
1. After install, when running Visio the first time, Visio never attempts to
load our vsl from what I can see. I have to go into the Options and point
BOTH the Addon and Startup paths to our solution folder.
2. After doing step 1 and restarting Visio, I'm prompted to trust our
digitally signed vsl.
3. After trusting the vsl, I have to shut down visio and restart, then our
solution is properly called by visio.
I thought the solution publishing tool, combined with going through the
extreme pain (and expense) of digitally signing our code was supposed to
bypass all of the issues above?
Does anyone have any insight into this?
Thanks,
Brian
