Thanks for all your wonderful help on the original posting. I solved the
problem as describe below. I don't know why it solved and would appreciate
anyone's explanation of what may be happening.
I started my troubleshooting by starting a new accdb and importing from the
accdb that was crashing in RT mode. My approach was to import small groups of
files and test them looking for hangup coding. Then to keep importing more
and more until done and the hangup was found. At the conclusion, I had
imported all objects into the new ACCDB and it worked fine in RT without me
finding any errors or hangups. In hindsight, if I had imported all the
objects at one time, I would have saved a lot of unnecessary work and
troubleshooting time doing the checking.
I recall previous unrelated cleaning of non-access computer files by copying
them. Could that be at work here?
