DATEDIF function is a simple function, it returns #VALUE when either start_date is greater than end_date or the interval is not correct. You can visit the following link if you want to learn more about the function.

Hi I cannot get datedif to work. I am using the std formulae
DATEDIF(A2, B2, "d")
mostly I am getting back #value or
I have formatted all the cells simarly usually long date SA
please help-this is causing BIG probelms for me?
I can attach my excel spreadsheet but am not too sure how to add attachments to this post
