anyone have a solution to this? I'm in the same boat, but the crashing
has gotten progressively worse. the minute i remove normal.dot for one
user, the same crash jumps to another user.

Solution to what? This post is isolated from anything else, so it is total

ouch... i thought for sure i replied to an existing post. it's been a
long week.
