Solve a printing problem with Microsoft Document Imaging

G

Gary Ryan

I have 5 computers all running Windows XP Home Edition and the latest verion
of Office, Outlook, etc. All have their updates up to date for Windows and
Office.

All, execpt one computer, can print a TIF file from Microsoft's Document
Imaging program. The one computer opens the TIF file; however, it has a
mspvire.exe error whenever the file is sent to the printer.

The same computer has a similar problem using Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer. It opens the same file; but, has a printing problem error and closes
the program.

The computer can print everything else.

We did send the TIF file the computer is having a problem with to other
offices computers and they did not have a problem opening and printing the
document.

I checked all of the settings on the one computer with the problem against
the ones that will print the document. They all have the same settings, same
printer drivers, etc.

I ran Office Detect and Repair on the computer with the printing problem and
it did not find anything.

I also ran some anti-spybot and anti-virus programs on the computer and...
no help.

So, this is a puzzlement. Any suggestions??? Help!!!!!
