I am trying to get Solver to change an input (adjustable)
cell by an integer amount. for example from 1 to 2 etc. I
am formatting the constraint of the input cell to integer,
but when I step through the program it only tries to
increment it by 0.00001. I really don't understand what
the integer constraint is doing, since it doesn't seem to
have any effect on the input cells and it cannot be
applied to a derivative cell.
I am trying to use the integer change to fetch a values
from a lookup table (using the INDEX function). The change
is too small to get to another integer, so the output
never changes and Solver gives up after 5 attempts.
An advice would be appreciated
