When I open some of my documents in an Office 2007 application such as Word
or PowerPoint, they open as "read-only" as indicated in the title bar. Then
after I make changes and want to save the document, I have to give it a
different name and cannot just save it over the original file name. This is
frustrating. How can I prevent a file from opening as read-only, or bypass
that restriction when I get ready to save a file?
