Some e-mail that I receive are stripped of message content?

I am currently utilizing OUTLOOK 2002 and recently began receiving some
e-mails that are stripped of message content and attachments. In some cases,
I am the sender from another e-mail address and therefore familiar with what
the message should contain. The only software alterations made recently are
installation of MS DEFENDER and MS (auto) Downloads.
