Some emails have no content and some have no attachments

I tried Thunderbird last night, to compare to Outlook. Today, in Outlook 2003
(with Win XP) I notice that many emails have no text in them, and attachments
are not being received. The attachments are Excel files and not any of the
notmally blocked exe type files. Can anyone tell me what has happened and how
to fix it please?

If you use a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this
integration and try again.
