Some graphics and text boxes don't print

I'm working in 2007. Recently, certain slides printed from my desktop as well
as from the network (at work) are printing with parts of graphics, text
boxes, filled shapes and even template title text boxes missing. (These are
slides that I have printed many times in the past with no issues. They occur
in different decks/files.) This isn't printer specific; I've printed to
several different printers in color, grayscale, and b/w and have the same
problem. Others in my office are able to print these slides from their
computers with no issues. Because I need to be able to edit the graphics in
the slides in the future, I need a solution that doesn't involve conversion
to pdfs, pgns, etc. From reading other posts, I'm wondering if this is a
printer driver issue that I should get help from our IT? Really frustrated
and would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Well, you've posted to the group for Mac PPt, but since you're here :)...

IIRC, printing in Windows network environments employs 2 printer drivers ‹
one on the workstation & one on the print server. Since the file prints OK
from other PCs the file is apparently not the problem & if others can print
to the same printers OK the server drivers are evidently good. By process of
elimination, if you're having similar problems regardless of which printer
you use I'd tend to think your suspicion of outdated drivers on your system
is quite likely accurate. You might check in with the PC Office groups here:

Close ... Windows printing only uses one printer driver, but the driver can be
located on either your own computer or on the server that hosts the printer.

The latter is very convenient for admins ... they can update the one driver on
the server instead of having to install to each PC on the network.
Unfortunately, PowerPoint is sometimes very unhappy with such "server hosted"
drivers. You really want to install the printer on your own PC.

Since the file prints OK
