Some items cannot be deleted.

Hi all,

I am trying to delete an email from a folder, and get 'Some items cannot be
deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied'

I only get this with 1 certain email in that particular folder. All other
emails I can delete without problems.

How do I delete this 1 problematic email?

Outlook 2007. A subfolder of Inbox.

I came across this specific emails (in boxes of some of our employees) when
the backup program started complaining about them being 'corrupt'.
I can read them without problems when I open their mailbox in my Outlook,
but I am unable to remove these specific emails.
Is there perhaps something I can do on Exchange-level (server 2003)?

Hi Evert,

seems to be the e-mail has been corrupted

Plz do these,

try to move the e-mail to deleted items
empty the deleted items and check.
run scan pst to repair outlook pst file ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497/en-us )

The problem seems to be in the exchange-store. Fixing local .PST-files isn't
gonna make much of a difference, I think.

I am getting 2 copies of each email rec'd. The second copy gives the error
message
"Cannot open"
I can't delete the emails when I hit "delete" but when I leave the "inbox"
and return, the messages which I hit to delete are gone, but are not in the
"Delete" box

I have 2 email stuck in my outbox that can't be deleted or moved - and it is
affecting sending other emails. Any ideas?

Posted weekly, at least. Click File, check Work Offline. Stop Outlook,
wait a couple minutes, restart Outlook. Delete the messages. Click File
and uncheck Work Offline.
