The help file listed the removed functions in runtime as though it were a
complete list. Now that I'm ready to put this together, I see there are some
things removed that weren't on the list:
- "Edit list items..." command. It didn't work without the ribbon, so I
made a custom ribbon. It then worked with the full version, but not in
runtime (in fact, no right-click menu at all).
It won't be too much trouble to place a "manage list" button on the form,
just not very elegant. Before I do, does anyone know of a way to get the
"edit list items..." command back in runtime?
- The "Export" group of commands (from the External Data tab). I added the
group to my custom ribbon. Again, it works in the full version, but gone in
runtime.
I suppose I could design a report (another blasted button on the form!), but
I was really hoping for the power and freedom of being able to export to
Word, Excel, etc. Any ideas?
