Somebody else's Database Won't Open

Gretchen

I was given a database to try and work with. They sent the whole *.mdb
file. When I try to open it, I get this error message....
"Microsoft Access cannot open this file.
This file is located outside your intranet on on an untrusted site.
Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential security problems.
To open the file, copy it to your machine or an accesible network location."

Does this mean that this 884 KB file is not the whole database? As in they
didn't send me the whole thing and this is just a link to the data tables?
Is there some other way around this?

Right-click on the file and select PROPERTIES. There should be a checkbox
that lets you uncheck it regarding that security message.
