Sometimes Saving a file makes program unresponsive

Hi,

I'm using Office Pro 2003 on a PC with Windows XP pro. Often when I try
to save a file in either Publisher, Word or Powerpoint the program locks
up. This seems to happen particularly if I try to save to a destination
other than the default "My Documents" and navigate through the disk
structure. I then have to terminate the program and start again. Does
anyone have any ideas what is going on here.

Are you getting an error message? Are you trying to save the files to a "read
only" folder? Is it a permission issue?
