Sometimes Shortcut Bar and Taskbar disappear

I (still) have Office 97 and Windows 98SE. The Shortcut Bar (often) and the
Taskbar with SysTray (occasionally) disappear from the Desktop. Close
Programs shows that the Bar is still running. I have read about PrintKey.
Since the SysTray is also involved, I am hoping that there is another
solution to try.

Sounds like an issue with your operating system. Perhaps try asking in
the Win98 group.

I did discover that if I opened up Display Properties and then closed it,
the Shortcut Bar came back temp[orarily.
