1. How to create a new and smaller presentation from a large presentation.

Newsgroup member, Dr. Jay, con tributed this gem. One of the best things
about the newsgroup is when someone comes up with a solution that no one has
encountered or imagined. Thanks so much, Dr. Jay. This is a true winner!

a. Open PowerPoint and open your large presentation.
b. Go to Slide Sorter.
c. CTRL+click the slides you want.
d. Drag the selected slides to your desktop.
e. On your desktop you will see a Scrap file - double click on it.
f. It will open up in Powerpoint with just those slide with the same master.
g. Save as a new filename.
............................................................... End quote

Problem : cannot drag slides to the desktop. Got a ' stop ' icon when curser
reached the desktop. No Scrap file present.

By the way, QuickTrick #16 specifically is about explanatory text on
mouseclick. I think you're actually looking at #1 for this particular trick.
