One of my users has started getting the message:
"sorry, you have to configure an offline folder file first"
when they start Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000, connecting to an Exchange 2003
server. They are solidly connected to the network over a VPN, and have never
had any need for offline folder use. I have tried setting up an offline
folder for them, and enabling or disabling the Offline Use options, but the
message recurs.
Once it pops up, it can be dismissed but it pops up again, either instantly
or as soon as we try to open a message, over and over until we force Outlook
to shut down.
Any suggestions?
