Sort by data, not by formula

MIKE

I am trying to sort data by the answer in a column that is
the result of a formula. How can I sort it by the result
rather than the formula without hiding the formula?

I must be missing something, but XL always sorts by the value in a
cell. So, it would appear to me that you are trying to avoid something
that XL doesn't do in the first place.
