SORT DATA MERGE RECORDS

E

ERIC

I am running a data merge to print out a list of my Entourage Address
Book entries, and am complete - except for the fact that the contacats
will only list in FIRST NAME ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
Microsoft Word HELP clearly states [when you search for 'sort data
merge'] and you can sort your data by clicking QUERY OPTIONS under
MERGE ... AND THEN CLICK THE SORT RECORDS TAB ... there is NO Sort
Records tab in he Query Options window!

Does someone have the answer? Is it hidden somewhere else?

I'm running a recently purchased version of Office 2004 on an iBOOK,
using OSX.

Hi Eric,

You're absolutely right! Hopefully a Microsoft employee will notice this
posting. But you could send feedback using the Help menu just to be sure.

It appears that you will need to take an extra step. Export your
contacts and open them in Excel or make a Word document with a table so
that you can order the names as you like.
