Sort of far out question.

Although I'm far from a novice at MS Access, I am also far from knowing
many things about its full capabilities. Having said that, I am about
to ask what I think is a far out question:

You know how in some databases when you move the cursor over a subject
name, title or whatever in what looks to be a report or list, the
subject will highlight (change color) and then you can click on it and
it will open another window containing information on that subject?
Can that be done in access? Yes, I have queries with hyperlinks and
forms with command buttons which can open reports, forms and other
things, but queries are basically ugly and forms generally do not
display many records at one time, and I can't add hyperlinks or macros
or modules to reports (I think). So is there a way of making something
in access that looks that nice or is that some type of special software
or am I confusing this with things only associated with the internet?

I apologize if this question seems ridiculous but I'm curious.

well, you can't do it in a report. reports are not interactive; the controls
in reports don't have events such as Click or MouseMove. you can do
something similar in a form, perhaps. for instance, you can have a bound
form in Continuous or Datasheet view, and set the Click event of a
particular control to open another form bound to related records. you can
change the color of certain controls when the mouse moves over them; see MVP
Arvin Meyer's sample db at the MouseMove2K link on webpage
http://www.datastrat.com/Download2.html.
