Sort Sections powertoy bug?

I have a notebook that had sections and section groups. Within the section
groups were more sections.

I used the Sort Sections powertoy on the root notebook. It sorted my
sections all right, but did more than I wanted. Not only did it sort the
sections in the root notebook, it additionally pulled out the sections that
were subs of the section groups, and promoted them into the root notebook. I
now have all sections sorted in the root notebook, and two empty section
groups.

Bug?

yes, confirmed bug. I'm talking with the author to see about getting a fix
in place, or at least post the code.
