Sort

Is it possible to perform a sort on a column header with a manual carriage
return in the cell (CONTROL+OPTION+RETURN)? When I attempt to perform a sort
and select the column that has a header with this feature it returns the
error:

"The text you entered is not a valid reference or defined name."

I am able to do this type of sort in Excel for Windows.

Thanks,

DH

This certainly appears to be a bug. I've reported it, but you should
too. Use the Help/Send Feedback on Excel menu item in XLv.X or

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/feedback/suggestion.asp

for earlier versions.

A workaround:

Select the cells to be sorted (don't select the header). Choose
Data/Sort and select the no header row radio button.
