I have two columns of part ids that are essentially 6
digit numbers followed in some cases by an A of B and they
refuse to sort the same:
Data Sort 1 Sort 2
310923 303106 303106
303106 303001A 310923
303001B 303001B 303001A
303001A 310923 303001B
834561B 834561B 834561B
etc. Both columns contain the same part numbers, but sort
differently. When I sort one of the columns it puts all of
the part numbers with A's or B's at the bottom of the list
(sort 2). When I sort the other column, it sorts the
numerically with the A's and B's wher I want them. I have
been unable to determine any differences between the
columns of data.
