I'm sorting text that is alpha-numeric in origin in ascending order.

ZT81
ZDT21
ZT1514
ZT1513
ZT1072
ZT1708
ZT183
ZT184
ZT90
ZT81
ZT403P
ZT42
ZT88
ZT152
ZT210
ZDT42
ZDT41
ZT1484
ZT91
ZT114

Why aren't the ZDs first, the ZFs second and ZTs last?

This is actually the third column of the sorting sequence. The first
two columns have similar data sorted with higher priority
........associated values in rows are empty (actually hyphens). Same
disrupted sequencing shows there, but is not as severe an example.

Sorting not in effect this column.

Other columns - other issues.
