Hey all,
I have decided to categorize my Karaoke collection into a book
form for ease of use for the singers. Now, I feel that Excel will be
more that enough to accomplish this... However, i have run into a
problem.
I plan on having 3 categories (columns) across:
Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
Artist Song CD Name
Artist Song CD Name
Artist Song CD Name
Artist Song CD Name
Artist Song CD Name
Artist Song CD Name
Ok, that's the basic format... Now i want to be able to have 3
different lists (after sorting) I want to list the entries ) in alpha
order of artist, 2) in alpha order of song name, and 3) in alpha order
of cd name. When i try to sort a column by highlighting it, it sorts
only that column. I want to be able to take along the other 2 columns
(in correct order) with the order of the column am currently
sorting... Does this make sense? In other words, when i highlight
column 2 and sort by alpha order, i want column 1 and 3 to stay in the
correct order after the change -- not just aplpabetize the middle
column and leave the other 2 out of order... Thanks in advance for
your help...
Thanks again,
M
