Sorting alphabetically

I have an issue that I have lost the ability to go diretly
to a section in contacts alphabetically. There should be
a bar along the right hand side with the alphabet, but it
has disappered and I don't know how to get it back. Any
suggestions?

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed here:
