Sorting and Deleting problems in Shared Workbook

I don't know if this problem is caused by Sorting or Deleting.
When I add a few rows to my Shared Workbook and do a sort, everything seems
fine. When I delete rows everything also seems fine.
But - when I open the file the next day, I sometimes (now and then) find
that certain info in certain cells is not where they should be. This causes
my data to be incorrect.

Example:
If row A1567:E1567 contains AAAAA
and row B1567:E1567 contains BBBBB
then after sorting or deleting
row A1567:E1567 contains AAABB

I even tried to do sorting and deleting with everyone else closing the
shared file so that only I have it open.

I'm using Offxe 2003 SP2 and I can't find a patch from Microsoft for it.
