sorting and searching of Outlook Rules to help clean up my Rules

I am getting multiple emails to various folders due to old Rules.
I would like to sort the exact email addresses, not just the display names,
and select some Rules for edit or deletion.

Do you want to use the exact address in the rule or just sort rules by the
address instead of the display name? The reason outlook doesn't sort rules
by names or actions is that the rules run in the order listed.

Are you having problems deleting rules?

Generally when multiple rules apply to one message and you get duplicates,
it means you don't have 'stop processing' condition added to the first rule.

The problem is deletion of rules. The "stop processing" is a good programming
practice and I will start using it.
I use Outlook for International business contacts to sort by country,
suppliers and customers. I have perhaps 700 rules that show display names,
not actual email addresses. So I can't be sure that the rules refer to
duplicate addresses without clicking each display name description within the
each rule. And since address sorting is not offered I can't use that as a
shortcut.
Any ideas?

the ability to manage the rules is clutzy and for practical purposes
non-existant. It could be a great tool, but without a practial means of
management it eventually creates more problems than it solves.

Microsoft could easily solve issue if they wanted to.
