Sorting Conditional Formatted Cells

Does anyone know how to sort conditional formatted cells?
When I do it, the formatting stays with the cell that was
formatted and doesn't move with the sort. Thanks.

Hi Chris,

what did you enter as conditional format. If you have the same relative
formula for all cells/rows sorting should work just fine

Thanks for replying, Frank. The cells are formatted differently. I have them set up as an inventory control. When they reach a certain number the cells change color and flag the user to drop an order card. Some may be for 20, 25, 30...and so on. They are set up for clear, yellow, and red. When the sheet is sorted the formatting stays with the cell it was originally applied to. I've tried everything I could possibly think of but can't get it to move when sorting.
